Last updated: 2026-06-26
FitMyTrainer is an informational website with no user accounts and no sign-up forms. This policy explains the limited data we process and your rights under the GDPR.
Who we are (data controller)
The data controller for FitMyTrainer is Rafał Bajda, Przeworska 9b/62, 04-382 Warszawa, Poland. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact support@fitmytrainer.com.
What we collect
We do not ask you to register or submit personal data. The compatibility checker runs entirely in your browser — your bike’s axle, freehub and cassette selections are never sent to us.
We process only: (a) standard server/CDN logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) needed to deliver and secure the site, and (b) data set by the cookies described in our Cookie Policy, after your consent.
Cookies & consent
We load analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept them in the consent banner. If you decline, only essential technical storage is used. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics/ads cookies; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for secure delivery and basic server logs.
Third parties
Hosting & delivery: our site is served via Cloudflare (CDN, security, basic request logs).
When enabled and consented to, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic, and Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its advertising partners may set third-party vendor cookies and process your IP and device data as independent or joint controllers under their own terms.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, www.aboutads.info/choices and www.youronlinechoices.eu. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our providers (e.g. Google, our CDN) may process data outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email support@fitmytrainer.com; we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with UODO — Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (Poland) or with the data-protection authority in your own EU/EEA country of residence.
Children
FitMyTrainer is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly process their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date below reflects the current version.
